- bought a silver sky, reinspired to keep learning because of the tone
- enjoyed listened to polyphia
Year 5
- barely played guitar as I focused on Japanese
- didn’t bring my guitar to Japan
- joined local guitar club in Japanese university
- taught people how to play guitar in club
- jammed at studios in Tokyo with friends from guitar club
Year 4
- took music classes w/o credit at college
- bought a new acoustic guitar, played it more than electric that year
Year 3
- graduated hs, continued to grind through guitar summer
- briefly considered majoring or minoring in guitar
- only brought electric guitar to college, played it every day
Year 2
- started to enjoy electric guitar more
- joined a band with some friends
- had to play bass mostly because already had a lead guitarist
- performed at school event
- figured out pentatonic, started solo-ing
- stopped taking lessons
- enjoying jimi hendrix
Year 1
- actually got a new acoustic guitar (Takamine)
- started taking lessons
- g chord was impossible
- played for approx 4 hours a day conservatively
- got super inspired by john mayer, guthrie govan, funky slap guitar
- got a stratocaster
Year 0
- watched canon rock, was inspired to start learning guitar
- had an old guitar passed down to me, was impossible to play on
